Dear Students,
To help you organize your time effectively and meet the obligations of the “MSc in Hospitality and Tourism Management,” below you will find important information regarding essential procedures for completing your studies.
- Acceptance of MSc Admission
After completing the interviews and being notified by the Secretariat that you have been selected for the MSc program, you must electronically submit the Position Acceptance Form for the MSc program to master-tourism@hmu.gr within five days. If this document is not received within this timeframe, it will automatically be assumed that you decline the offer to join the program.
- Institutional Email Account
Once your enrollment in the MSc program is finalized, you will need to create an institutional email account based on your student ID number, with the format @edu.hmu.gr (e.g., mdt00@edu.hmu.gr). All electronic communication with instructors, the Secretariat, and any other university services must be conducted strictly via your institutional email. You will also use this email for access to all HMU services.
In case of a proven issue with the institutional email, communication via personal email may be allowed temporarily until the issue is resolved.
- Online Student Portal
Through the electronic Secretariat system, you can:
- Register for courses.
- Monitor your grades.
- Submit applications for certificates needed during your studies.
- eClass Platform
The eClass platform of HMU is a comprehensive e-Learning Management System that supports asynchronous online learning without restrictions. It is accessible via a simple web browser without requiring specialized technical knowledge.
Instructions for registering on eClass are provided on the platform’s page. This will allow you to access course materials, notes, assignments, and grades posted by your professors.
